Description

This General Adult Rehab Set of Occupational Therapy Quick Reference cards is comprised of 16 double-sided pages of reference material relevant to individuals studying or working within the field of Occupational Therapy with a focus on adult rehabilitation. Pages are color coded to coincide with different topic areas to facilitate the “quick” aspect of this quick reference item. Whereas many other quick reference products on the market are targeted at a general medical audience, this product was designed by a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) and caters to the distinct “OT Mindset.”

Topics found on the cards range from:
Manual Muscle Testing (MMT) values and procedures, expected Range of Motion (ROM) values for the upper and lower extremities, Lab Values and/or Vitals, Orthopedic Post-Operative precautions and Weightbearing classifications, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, Vision, General Neurological, Upper Extremity Dermatomes & Myotomes, the Brachial Plexus, Hand Anatomy, and assessment and descriptions of common Upper Extremity Conditions.

My name is Jennifer and I am an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) passionately striving for continual personal and professional growth. Although I am now a fully-fledged Occupational Therapist working in an Acute Care setting, this product was born while I was preparing for my first Level II Fieldwork experience in a Neuro-focused setting. Over time I have expanded the guide to include a range of material relevant to Occupational Therapy practitioners and students who see a diverse range of adult patient populations across all types of practice settings.

Through my business OTReference, LLC I have been able to blend my love for organization, print design, and learning in a way that aims to benefit those of us involved in the field of Occupational Therapy (OT). As I continue to learn and grow I hope to expand my range of reference materials to better suit the unique needs of our profession.
